Paris’ Suburbs:
The Parisian graffiti scene was born long before the contemporary graffiti crossed the Atlantic Ocean, as seen in the photos taken by Brassai in the 1930s and in the student protests of May 1968. Announcements of street art can be detected already in the Parisian sixties, while from the 1980s, Paris and its suburbs have become one of the most dynamic centers of street art worldwide.
