WOOL is one of the urban art festivals I return to every year, because it is deeply connected to its city, its history and its community. Founded in 2011 in Covilhã, a former textile city in central Portugal, the festival brings together street art, public art, local stories and a strong sense of place.
In this video, you’ll see the festival from the inside: the artists at work, the production team, the streets of Covilhã, and the slightly chaotic rhythm of following everything with a camera in hand.
