Street Art in Florence

The most ancient street art in Florence is by none other than Michelangelo. However, from the 16th century to the last decade, Florence’s street art scene hasn’t evolved much. In the latest years, many small works appeared in the city center, mainly poster art and stickers on road signs, paving the way for the realisation of few large-scale murals in the outskirts of the city.

More off-the-beaten spots to see in Florence:

  • Cimitero degli Inglesi
  • Cimitero delle Porte Sante
  • Manifattura Tabacchi
  • Street Levels Gallery
  • B.East Gallery
  • l’ARTiglieria
  • L’Appartamento, an apartment turned lovely café
  • Sant’Ambrogio Food Market
