As you exit Cardiff Train Station you can already spot some street art in the city centre, an area where modern buildings outreach Victorian houses, giving the sense of a place that had been just put there rather than a place that had grown organically. However, if you want to see the best murals in Cardiff, you should head to the multicultural area of Roth, which lies just northeast of the city centre, where the Empty Walls Festival took place in 2013 and in 2014.
More cool spots to see in Cardiff:
- The Chapter Arts Center
- The hipster neighbourhood of Canton
- The Cardiff Bay (Europe’s largest waterfront)
